Problem

Brokers pay motor carriers 30, 45 or 60 days after they receive the delivery confirmation paperwork. If a motor carrier wants to receive the payment sooner, Brokers or Factoring Companies assesses a quick pay fee of 1-5%.

Insurance Claim Settlements

Problem

Shopping for insurance is a very time consuming process in the trucking industry, especially for new carriers. Once a policy is chosen, it takes a lot of time and and excessive communication to actually complete the binding process. If a claim is made, insurance companies tend to delay the disbursements using a number of reasons or excuses.

Solution

Auto liability covers damage done to another vehicle by the truck and is only paid for when the truck is in use. Cargo Insurance protects cargo from theft and/or damage and is only paid for when the truck is carrying cargo. On the Go Fuel Advance Accrual

Anytime a trucking company books a load, they ask for a fuel advance from the freight brokers providing the job. A fuel Advance is a partial amount of the final load rate. Freight Brokers charge at least a 1% fuel advance fee. The fee and the total fuel advance amounts are deducted when the final payment is made to the trucking company.

When a load is booked, the carrier is allowed to spend a certain percentage of the load rate on fuel without any charges or penalties.
